Meagan Dungan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Meagan Dungan, is the owner of Achieving Milestones Pediatric Therapy, PLLC. She is a wife and mother of two children. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling. Opening her own practice was a long time dream and she was thrilled to open in the city of Celina where she lives and her children attend school. She graduated from Lamar University in 2013 with a Masters of Science in Speech Pathology, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Special Education at Texas Women's University. She is a licensed Speech Pathologist in the State of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. Meagan has experience in various settings including home health, schools, inpatient and outpatient medical facilities. Meagan has extensive experience in the areas of feeding/swallowing, Apraxia and AAC. She is listed as a preferred provider for the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association. Meagan is passionate about helping children and their families improve their communication, feeding and daily living skills.
Milene was born and raised in Brazil. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Education from the University of Brasilia, Brazil and then worked as a teacher for 2 years. She moved to the United States in 2017. She is very passionate about her job, and she loves each and every child that walks into the clinic. She lives in Sherman with her partner, their cat, and their rescue dog. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, practice yoga, and read.
Dr. Heather Arduengo
Dr. Heather Arduengo is a licensed psychologist and school psychologist (known as Licensed Specialist in School Psychology or LSSP in Texas). She has worked in special education departments in the school setting for 10+ years, and she truly loves helping children and families get the services they need to be successful within the school setting. Dr. Arduengo is able to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations that address challenges that may be related to an Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disability, or other emotional and/or behavioral disorder. She loves working with other professionals as part of a team to provide families with a comprehensive and holistic view of their child.
Leslie Steed, M.S., OTR, graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Sciences in 2006. She earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2008. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas and is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Leslie has 12 years of experience working at major Dallas hospitals’ outpatient pediatric clinics. Leslie loves helping children improve their ability to more fully participate in home, school, and community settings, as well as working with families to achieve their overall goals. Leslie is a big kid at heart, which is why she has enjoyed working with kids for so long. Leslie and her family live in Frisco and in her spare time, Leslie enjoys crafting, reading, and listening to music. She also enjoys playing video games with her husband and son.
Mackenzie Beliera, B.S.
Speech Pathology Assistant
Mackenzie graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in communication sciences and disorders, along with a minor in psychology in 2020. She discovered her love for working with children while growing up in her mom's early childhood classroom, assisting her when needed. Mackenzie enjoys reading books, spending time with her fiancé, and babysitting in her free time. She recently got engaged to her college boyfriend, Levi. They live in Prosper with their Yorkie pup Lucky. She is passionate about positively impacting the lives of her patients and their families.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Corin Cheloha, A.A, COTA, graduated from Parker University with an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 2020. He is a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Texas and is certified by the NBCOT since 2021. He grew up with junior rheumatoid arthritis and after experiencing OT as a child and the positive outcomes he had, decided to pursue a career as a COTA as his way to give back for those that helped him in the past. He gained valuable experience from his mentors at the pediatric outpatient clinic during his internship. More recently he has gained experience in home health and the school setting, working with children who have developmental delays, fine and gross motor deficits, cerebral palsy, reflex integration, ASD and ADHD. He loves working with kids as he is also a big kid at heart! He resides in Lewisville with his two pups Kona, a Labrador mix, and Bandit an Australian Kelpie. In his spare time, he likes to play and occasionally coach volleyball, go on hikes with his pups, play video games, draw and go to the gym.
Annie York, M.S., CCC- SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Annie York, MS, CCC/SLP has been an ASHA - accredited SLP since 2003. She graduated from The University of Iowa in 2002, with a double major BA in Communication Disorders and Psychology. She went on to pursue her Masters in Science in Speech Pathology at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. She worked in Rehabilitation/Long Term Care for 3 years before moving on to the public schools in 2006. She spent 15 years working in public schools before making the change to private practice in 2022. She loves working with children with ASD, Social Communication, Pragmatics, AAC, Receptive/Expressive Language, Articulation, Fluency, and other areas. She lives in Prosper with her husband and three children, aged 12, 9, and 7. In her spare time she teaches Pilates, runs long distance, enjoys cooking, and reading.
